Went over to Rutland Water for the day so Jules could have a first sail of the year.

Jules went out on the big race board with a 4.0m trainer sail. It was a bit rough for her first session in a while but its all practise.

The wind was prety strong and a bit gusty, probably F5-7. with Jules on the 4.0m I only had a mast for the 6.4m so I rigged it well downhauled and quite flat but was still very overpowered.

Most people were out in the 4.5-5.5m range. After Jules packed up I changed down to my 5.0m and had a good blast. The runs out were quite good but coming back in the chop was big and messy which made it hard work, but a good blasting session none the less.

Loads of people out, too many to count. About 5 hours on the water ;-)
